Eisenstadt v. Baird

March 22, 1972

The U.S. Supreme Court issued three decisions against marriage and the family between 1965 and 1973: Griswold v. Connecticut (1965), Eisenstadt v. Baird (1972), and Roe v. Wade (1973).

The shorthand for the first two cases is that Griswold legalized contraceptives for married couples and Eisenstadt legalized them for every-one else.
